New ICD-10 codes become effective 10/1/2018. There are twenty-seven new codes and one deleted code that may be important to your practice. Although you will be hearing more about these codes over the next several months, CS EYE wanted to share this information with our clients. Mark your calendars for mid-September to check with your EHR vendor to ensure your system is updated. Use of incorrect codes after 10-1-2018 will result in denials.
